RE: We have a tripod mounted Dish 500 with Dual LNB

Dishnetwork DVR's have 2 receivers and 2 outputs IIRC. and thus you need TWO cables one for each receiver. ... This is not exactly true. 2 receivers I agree, two inputs, I agree, but only 1 cable from the antenna is needed (either port). I have DPP 500 antenna (dual LNB) with 1 cable feeding a separator at the rear of our dual tuner receivers (either a 322, 625, etc). Works just fine. Dish Info

RE: Wholesale Pricing for Cougar???

... A simple yes/no would suffice. Ron W. Not no, but he|| no. I tried to support my local dealer, but they wouldn't budge.

RE: Stolen Montana

Sorry to hear of this- as Davelinde said, have good replacement insurance. Not sure if I would want LoJack, might not want the trailer back if it's all trashed out- On the Laredo- we are happy with ours. Good luck.

RE: Oiled Filled Electric Heaters- Advice

Put your towel over it while showering, and when you get done you have a nice hot towel to dry off with.

RE: Wholesale Pricing for Cougar???

RV Direct sells Keystone products, that's who we bought our Laredo from, well worth the trip.

RE: 3000W Chinese Gensets Info.

Prof- I'm thinking along the same lines as you- As you can see in my sig, I have an AllPower 2kw, and that is a Kipor Clone. Interesting, a clone of a clone? Anyhow, I like being able to lock it in the compartment and use it for small loads, reserving the Champ for when Air Conditioning would be needed. Although I've not added an AC unit for the bedroom, I have thought about having a unit that could be run from the Kipor clone. I'm considering the Polar Cub. It is nice to be able to pick it up with one hand. I feel it's a good performer for $249. It takes several pulls to start the AllPower as well, I think I've read to let it sit with the vent opened and the switch on for a few minutes before trying to start to give the fuel a little time to work it's way into the carb. Anyhow, just thought I would ramble a bit...

RE: New Laredo 29RL!!

We love ours, it was well worth the trip to pick it up, bought from RV Direct and picked up in Elkhart. The floor plan is the best! Congratulations!

RE: Group to match RVers to take something to their destination.

You could probably buy a new fax machine in Atlanta for cheaper that you could ship it. Just watch the Sunday ads, and it would be guaranteed to work as well...

RE: We have a tripod mounted Dish 500 with Dual LNB

One cable (either output) will feed a separator for a dual input for a receiver that can serve 2 televisions (like the 322, or 625...) only IF the LNB is a Dish Pro PLUS, not the Dish Pro, only the Dish Pro PLUS. By the way, with the Dish 500, I don't think you can get the HD channels... they are on 129, and the 500 with dual LNB is for 110 and 119, (unless you can get 119 and 129 with it? I don't know...)

RE: just wanna introduce ourselves

Welcome, we also upgraded from tent camping, but we skipped the popups, had a TT for a year, then settled on a FW.

RE: Your thoughts on which GPS you would own

I also vote for Garmin- when our Street Pilot C340 died, Garmin said they would cover the repair, even though it technically was out of warranty, so for that reason alone, I bought another Garmin, a Nuvi 350 to use while the 340 was being repaired. Bought a refurbished Nuvi 350 from Circuit City. Nice unit, although the volume is on the low side.

RE: Vector/B&D vs Schumacher Chargers

I sold my 2/4/6 at a garage sale and bought this Black and Decker Model BC40EB, I like it and have not had any problems with it.

RE: Best GPS for under $300?

We have the Garmin Nuvi 350 from Circuit City for $169 (refurbished)- just as good as new.

RE: Pressure Pro users

We also keep ours in a compartment box in the storage area in the back of the front middle seat- put them on in about 2 or 3 minutes and off again at the destination. Don't have to worry about theft nor battery life.

RE: The very TIRED TIRE issue

Fixit- We have over 4,000 miles on our ribs, and have noticed nothing having moved inside. We stopped strapping the furniture down shortly after getting the trailer, and it all stays put. I take a good look at the underside components each time the tire covers go on, and have noticed nothing unusual.
